There are two ways to perform a balance transfer:
- To transfer funds yourself, simply transfer money from your credit card to your savings or checking account. Then, arrange a payment to your credit card company.
- Your second option is to have Credit Union 1 cut a check from your credit card and mail it to the credit card company for you.
Both options are free. However, choosing to have CU1 mail your payment may mean a few more days in processing.
