Does it cost more to electronically transfer funds from my credit card versus using balance transfer checks?

If you choose to have a balance transfer check mailed to you, the money will take a bit longer to arrive, which might cost you additional interest. However, Credit Union 1 is happy to offer no-fee balance transfers, whether you transfer money electronically or via a balance transfer check!

Your Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is the same for balance transfers as with purchases. The only difference is that interest begins to accrue right away with balance transfers, rather than at the end of your billing cycle as with purchases.
